Band in District 200 begins in 5th grade. All 5th grade students will attend an assembly about band, the instruments available, and will receive a Band Handbook that includes more information and a sign up form. The Band Handbook will also have a QR code if families would like to read the information and register online.

• The Band Director for all Dean Street students is Mrs. Debbie Schweihs.  
• Lessons by instrument are during the day, on a rotating schedule
• Full-group after-school band is every Friday from 1:50 - 2:50 p.m. (beginning in October)
• Transportation must be provided by student's family
